Accuracy comes first
AI can help reorganize and clarify existing experience, but it should not invent employers, titles, dates, credentials, tools, customers, revenue, or results. Review every line before applying.
Tailoring should improve relevance
A strong tailored résumé makes applicable skills and achievements easier to find. It does not copy the job posting or stuff keywords without context.
Keep the writing natural
- Use language you can explain aloud.
- Remove vague superlatives and repetitive phrases.
- Preserve your actual scope and voice.
- Check that examples and metrics match your records.
Protect confidential information
Do not place passwords, government identification, banking details, confidential employer data, or restricted customer information into a résumé tool.
Do a final human review
Read the document for facts, tone, formatting, and job relevance. You should be able to defend every statement and expand on it naturally during the interview.
